Sandy Moose

Sandy has been attending church services since 1999. She currently serves as a Senior Advisor at the Boston Consulting Group. She is the former Lead Director of Verizon Communications and The Rohm and Haas Company and served on the board of The AES Corporation. She recently retired as Chairman of the Natixis Advisor and Loomis Sayles Funds, as Chair of the Alfred P, Sloan Foundation (the first woman to hold that position) and as President of the Board of Trustees at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She is also trustee, past trustee or advisor of various charitable organizations including The Boston Symphony, The Huntington Theatre, the Museum of Science, the Council of the Harvard Graduate Society (which she also chaired), and the Boston Public Library Foundation, which she chaired from 2004-7. Sandy has been the recipient of numerous professional and civic leadership awards. Sandy received her Ph.D. and M.A. in economics from Harvard University and a B.A. summa cum laude from Wheaton College (Norton, MA) where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a Woodrow Wilson Fellow.
