In the Episcopal Church, all baptized persons, of whatever age, are welcomed (and encouraged!) to receive Communion.

Any child old enough to hold out his/her hands will be served at the altar rail, and parents are urged to let their children know that they are welcomed. However, to deepen our children’s appreciation of the Sacrament, we offer a session for students in the 3rd grade to learn more about Communion as a sacrament and a practice.

Communion Prep is a one-time class held every spring. Shortly after the class, children honor their newfound knowledge of Communion with a celebration during the 10:00am service.

Your child must be registered for Sunday School so we know they are of age. Children registered in Sunday School will automatically receive an invitation.
