Junior Youth Group

The Junior Youth Group gathers 5th, 6th & 7th grade youth in our church together for good Christian fellowship, worship, service and study. Through these dimensions, we seek to strengthen our spiritual faiths and our sense of community—not only among youth, but also between youth and “older” adults in the church

Activities

We do this through a variety of activities such as games, making arts & crafts, watching & discussing movies, musical events, service projects, going on adventures and other fun things. We meet roughly twice each month.  See our 2005-06 Calendar of events.

Adult Supervision

The junior youth group is guided and supervised by a combination of counselors and parents. We need at least two adults to sponsor each event—parents of youth or others who’d like to have fun with us—in addition to JYG counselors Stuart Mathews and the Rev. Judith Stuart.
