Children’s Liturgy—January 6th, 5:00 pm

On Wednesday, January 6th, the Church of the Redeemer will be celebrating the feast of the Epiphany, also known as the Revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, and Three Kings Day.  We will be celebrating this great feast of the Church by following the journey of the three Magi from the East and learning about their precious gifts that they gave to the baby Jesus.  After the short liturgy, we will celebrate the Epiphany with traditional King’s Cakes.  The King’s Cake is a wonderful tradition.  It was originally eaten in Medieval France, but has since passed through many cultures with a great diversity of meanings.  Come out to enjoy each other’s company with cake, prayer, and fun.
