Request for Participants

 

Website Subcommittee

We need people from all major areas of the church

to help design a Website that serves the needs of the Redeemer

 

Volunteer one hour per week via online contact

Now through the Fall

 

The subcommittee will work to provide feedback to our professional web developer on integrating our programming with our online presence and vision for the future regarding the website. This committee will be facilitated by our Executive Assistant to the Rector and will involve face-to-face meetings only as necessary. Online Googlegroups will be set up for the subcommittee to view and provide feedback to the developer online, so this is a very doable summer and fall commitment from any location.

Christian Hospitality Needed

 

 

Shan Overton, a doctoral student in religion at BC, is coming from Nashville, TN and is looking to rent a room or an apartment in Chestnut Hill or nearby for August 1st. She is looking for lodging for about $1,000 a month. She will be moving in with a cat and would like to be near public transportation.

 

Please contact Laine in the office if you have housing leads for Shan.

Diocesan-wide Days of Service

Friday, Sept. 11th & Saturday 12th

 

Sponsored by the diocese's two young adult intern programs--the Micah Project and the Relational Evangelism Pilot Project--along with diocesan leaders and staff. 

 

 

Here's how to get involved:

×Commit to serving on either Sept. 11 or 12.  Projects are still being determined, but    three large sites, each led by a bishop, and several smaller ones throughout the diocese are expected.

 

×Gather a group of 10 or more people from your school, parish, deanery or community to work together at one of the sites.

 

×Donate money or supplies (paint, brushes, trash bags, gloves, water, snacks, etc.).

 

Anyone interested in participating may contact Natalie Finstad at natalie@diomassintern.org.
