Stewardship 2007

If you have not yet made your pledge to the church in support of the 2007 Annual Operating Budget, please do so at your earliest convenience.  Your pledge card can be put in the mail, you can call the church financial office, you can hand deliver your pledge, or you can pledge on-line at www.redeemerchestnuthill.org.  Your timely pledge will allow the Vestry, at its December 12th meeting, to set a realistic budget for the coming year.  Thank you in advance for your prayerful consideration.

CHRISTMAS SERVICE ASSISTANTS NEEDED

We still need four ushers for the 10:30 pm Christmas Eve service which has a choral prelude beginning at 10:00 pm.  We also need three ushers for the 10:30 am service that day.

In addition, we need one more acolyte for the 10:00 pm prelude/ 10:30 pm Christmas Eve service.

We also need one more LEM for both the 4:00 pm and 10:30 pm services.

If you are able to help in any of these positions, please let the office know.

Many thanks

Annual Christmas Book Collection for St. Stephen's Afterschool Program is well underway!

Thank you to everyone who is participating in the book collection for
St. Stephen's Afterschool Program.  A reminder:  Your wrapped gift
(don't forget a gift tag!) is due at the church office on or before
Friday, December 15th.  Your gift will be presented at the St. Stephen's
Afterschool Program Christmas Party (which Redeemer sponsors) on
Thursday, December 21st.  Please contact Pam Mathews at 617-527-0496 or psmathews@comcast.net with questions, etc.

Please Help Those In Need

We have some families who have appealed to us for help during the Christmas season.  Below is a list of the requests we have received to date.  If you are able to help provide any of these items, please contact the office to let us know which gift you would like to choose (so that we don't have duplicates).  We would appreciate your bringing your wrapped present to the church by December 18th.  If you would prefer to contribute funds, we would be most appreciative of that as well since we will probably receive more requests before December 25th.  Many thanks in advance for your generous help and may the blessings of Christmas be with you and your family.
