Financial Stewardship
Stewardship is a year-round effort designed to meet the financial needs of the Church of the Redeemer, while reaching out to each other. The primary source of revenue for our church comes from annual pledges made by parishioner families. These pledges currently fund part of the operating budget for the upcoming calendar year. Our long-term goal is to fund 100% of our operating budget from these commitments. We also hope to eventually achieve 90% participation and to consistently make Stewardship about “caring for souls” and “bringing people to Christ and Christ to people.”
Goals
Our 2011 Stewardship effort hopes to raise $750,000 and realize 70% participation.
Co-Chairs
The 2011-2012 Stewardship co-chairs are jebillo [at] aol [dot] com (Julia Woodard) (781-326-1662 and farchar [at] aol [dot] com (Chuck Farber) (617) 738-1477.
Shepherds
35 “shepherds” have volunteered to call every member of our church. These volunteers will attend a training session designed to help them answer any questions parishioners may have. Mailings, church-based posted information, and web-based communications will be utilized to help each family make a well-informed decision about their pledge.
Other Opportunities for Giving that support the Outreach efforts of the Redeemer:
Our wonderful parish supports many areas beyond the church. The following annual Redeemer events are not used to cover operating expenses:
- Christmas Market proceeds
- Fund-A-Need Pledges and Auction proceeds
- Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas Offerings
- Special Campaigns for Mission Trips
Thank you for your support!
