Various former building and landscaping projects

    Taki attended Bowdoin College (BA arte cum laude) followed by graduate studies in architecture at Princeton, Columbia (M.Arch), and Harvard (MDesS) Graduate Schools of Architecture and Design.
     For the past 12 years he has been actively involved with the Redeemer volunteering architectural services.  Projects have included the New Elevator; Altar Guild Room, and on various other projects (i.e. Porter Room, sound systems) as a member of the Building Committee.
     Taki has been married for 38 years to Diana Tsomides who is also his partner in their architectural firm. The Tsomides have lived in Brookline for the past thirty one years and have one son, Jason, living in Paris. Taki founded Tsomides Associates Architects Planners in 1980, with offices in Newton.  The practice consists mainly in the design of retirement communities for non-profit sponsors, such as: the Jewish Community’s The Cedars Campus, Portland, ME; the Quaker-sponsored Cadbury at Lewes, DE; New England Deaconess Association’s Newbury Court, Concord; Marillac Residence, Wellesley Hills, MA for the Sisters of Charity. 
    The couple has worked with Carleton-Willard Village in Bedford for the past 26 years, where many Redeemer people have served on its Board.  Earlier in his career Taki worked for Josep lluis Sert, Cambridge.
     He currently serves on the Design Advisory Board, Alzheimer’s Foundation of America and is a member of Boston Society of Architects, (BSA&AIA) and LeadingAge Massachusetts (ME & NH).
