Fellowship Committee Co-Chair, member of the Eldercare Committee, former Stewardship Co-Chair
Karla is currently co-chair of Fellowship Committee, has been an active member of the Eldercare Committee for two years and was co-chair of the 2010 Stewardship Campaign.
Karla loves the Redeemer: the building, the worship, the music, and most of all the amazing clergy, staff and parishioners who give so much and in that service receive a spark of divinity.
Karla is raising three sons, Karl Gadicke at Tabor Academy, Max Gadicke at Brookline High School, and Leo Gadicke at Milton Academy. Karl and Max were confirmed at the Redeemer, Max is a Youth Assistant with the 2nd and 3rd grade Church School classes and Leo is an acolyte and helps mom on computer projects for the church!
Karla is in a master’s program at Lasell College for her second career interest, Eldercare Administration. For the past two years, she has been doing project work in the eldercare field at the Alzheimer’s Association in the advocacy group and at the Brookline Senior Center as part of the new BCAN (Brookline Community Aging Network).
Prior to being a full-time mom, cub scout leader and school volunteer, Karla was at the Boston Consulting Group, in the MBA program at Columbia, teaching English in her grandfather’s village in China, working for Bain & Co., and attending Oberlin College.
When Karla is not juggling any of these activities, she can be found training for races with her gaggle of workout friends.
