       Charles (“Chuck”) Farber and his wife, Lisa Mincey Farber, have lived in Brookline for the past 15 years and have two sons.  Chuck, 50, is a CFA charter holder with a BS in Computer Science from Duke University and an MBA from Georgetown University. 
      Chuck is a long-term active participant in the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s Jimmy Fund.  He has ridden for thirteen consecutive years in this, the nation’s most successful bike-a-thon.  He his grateful to his sponsors for their generous donations of over $250,000 for this cause.  Chuck is also on the Board of the Brookline Music School.
      Professionally, Chuck has spent twenty-one years in private equity portfolio management with a focus on strategy and portfolio construction both at Liberty Mutual Group and at General Motors Asset Management program. 
      Prior to his private equity career, Chuck spent six years in system software development for data communications networks.
      He travels extensively for work and pleasure, and once upon a time trekked overland from Cairo to Cape Town.
