Communion Prep Class

In the Episcopal Church, all baptized persons, of whatever age, are welcomed (and encouraged!) to receive Communion.

Any child old enough to hold out his/her hands will be served at the altar rail, and parents are urged to let their children know that they are welcomed. However, to deepen our children’s appreciation of the Sacrament, we offer a session for students in the 3rd grade to learn more about Communion as a sacrament and a practice.

Youth Group

Youth Group:

We offer a chance for high schoolers to gather and to worship together, talk about the Bible, and eat together. It is our primary desire to cultivate a community of high schoolers willing and able to wrestle with the tough questions of faith in an environment that welcomes, affirms, and accepts all people. In addition to these important goals we also want youth group to be a place where teens can relax, be themselves, and have fun.

Our Pre-Confirmation youth (7th grade) are invited to attend Pre-Confirmation dinners three times a year to bond as a group and prepare for an intensive 8th year in Confirmation Class.
