Communion Preparation

Communion Preparation Class 2009

This class is held every other year.  It was held in 2009 and will be held again in 2011.

In the Episcopal Church, all baptized persons, of whatever age, are welcomed  (and encouraged!) to receive communion.  Any child old enough to hold out his/her hands will be served at the altar rail, and parents are urged to let their children know that they are welcomed.  The Communion Preparation Class is not meant as a prerequisite for Communion, but rather as an opportunity for children in 2^nd and 3^rd grades to deepen their appreciation of the sacrament.
