Church School

Mission Statement

The Redeemer Church School seeks to provide children with a foundation in the Christian faith in a nurturing environment of acceptance, love and open inquiry.  Through a program of education, worship, outreach and fellowship, children are encouraged to develop their Christian beliefs and values and to grow in their relationship with God and with each other.

The specific elements of the Church School program at the Redeemer, adjusted appropriately for each age level, include:

bulletStudy of the Bible stories of the Old and New Testament
bulletFamiliarization with the basic components of worship in the Episcopal Church through weekly worship in children’s chapel program
bulletLending of guidance and assistance to teachers, in hopes of broadening their Christian beliefs and in an effort to help them become more effective Christian leaders
