Education and Conversation

The Redeemer is a community that helps its members grow into a deep faith in Jesus Christ that is both heart-felt and intellectually solid.  Adults have frequent opportunities to engage with the clergy and with one another on questions of belief, Scripture and tradition on a weekly and seasonal basis.

Bible Study is offered once a week each for men and women by the dorsey [at] redeemerchestnuthill [dot] org (Rev. Dorsey McConnell) at the Rectory during the program year. A co-ed adult Bible Study also takes place immediately before the main service at 9:00 am in the Tripp Room.  

We hold special mid-week lecture series during Advent and Lent, with occasional guest speakers from different disciplines.

Fellowship dinners are held in the fall and Sunday Night Suppers are fellowship small groups that meet a few times throughout the year.
