Need event space? We have it!
The Redeemer facilities are available at a modest fee for non-church related functions such as:
- Book clubs or other small group meetings
- Community meetings, like neighborhood associations
- Larger club or non-profit events
- Music or tutoring lessons
- Musical Recordings (The acoustics of the Nave are terrific!)
- Vendor events
*No birthday parties, graduations, balloons, or events serving alcohol (aside from church events) are permitted.
Seats approximately 400 people in pews. Can be rented for concerts, musical recordings, and other performance events. It is our primary sacred space, so no food or drink is allowed. Use of the Noack Organ will incur an additional charge.
The Parish Hall is 35 by 60 feet and holds approximately 120 people seated. It is adjacent to the kitchen, the use of which is a separate charge. We offer a variety of table and seating arrangements for an additional set-up/take-down fee. The Parish Hall can be rented for lunch and dinner events, such as for Chestnut Hill Garden Club meetings.
Our industrial-sized kitchen is equipped with two refrigerators with freezer capacity, a dishwasher, two stoves, and two industrial-sized coffee makers.
The Tripp Room
The Tripp Room is a comfortably furnished lounge for small group meetings. It seats 10-12 people. No food or drink is allowed.
The Porter Room
Our newly renovated meeting space, now called the Porter Room, is an ideal location for meetings and comfortably seats 25 people in boardroom-style seating. It features a kitchen counter with mini-fridge and is located across the hall from the Parish Hall and Kitchen. There are hopes to install a Smart Audiovisual system in the near future.
The Undercroft, an Episcopal word for “church basement,” is a spacious location for a variety of events. We hold our Christmas Market and Spring Fair in this space and also rent it out for other occasions.
The Old Parish House
One of our most versatile rooms, the Old Parish House features stylish couches arranged for easy and comfortable small-group discussion. The remainder of the vast space is open. One wall has been left blank to accommodate a projector, which can be rented for an additional fee. Furniture in this room can be moved around to accommodate event needs. About 60 children can be comfortably seated in the open space.
Sunday School Classrooms
Sunday School classrooms are available for rent weekday afternoons and evenings and are ideal for music lessons or tutoring.
Renting Sunday School space involves a certain level of care. There are many things in our classrooms that might be tempting to touch or play with, so use of these rooms requires a high level of adult supervision.
Duration of the rental
Take-down and clean up time
Optional additional equipment provided (VCR, use of organ, etc.)
We reserve the right to refuse to rent space for any reason. An inquiry into availability is not a guarantee of a booking. Booking must be approved by Facilities Manager Elton Matos.
We do not offer any rental space on City of Newton voting days, as we are a polling center.
