About Us

We are a church with a long history, accomplished members, and a beautiful building. While our website can reveal a great amount, you’ll have to come visit in person to truly experience life at the Redeemer.

In additon to our weekly worship services, Bible studies, and our youth and adult programming, we offer several community services unique to the Redeemer that are worth highlighting here:

  • The Redeemer Cooperative Preschool rents space from us, and can be reached by contacting Director Sue Chrystal, 617-566-9162. They would love to hear from you about enrolling your child in their preschool.
  • We sponsor a Redeemer Concert Series, founded by Boston Symphony Orchestra member and parishioner Keisuke Wakao. These classical concerts often feature members of the BSO and other musicians of similar caliber. We do charge for admission, but you’ll find the prices quite reasonable.  Keisuke also holds an American-Japanese Cultural Concert Series here, but it is not sponsored by us.
  • Once or twice a year we hold seasonally focused bazaars to raise money for our mission work. We greatly encourage the public to attend and support local aid agencies through bazaar purchases.
  • Although we are a busy place, sometimes our spaces aren’t being used. Our meetings rooms, Parish Hall and kitchen are available to rent.

These are just a few of the ways our Christian community can be of service to you outside of a Sunday morning.  We encourage you to look through the site to discover all we have to offer.
